
Voting Information
Vote on or before Tuesday, April 8!
Election Day is Tuesday, April 8. To be eligible to vote you must be a resident of Pequot Lakes School District, at least 18 years old, and registered to vote in Minnesota. You can register to vote online here or on Election Day at your polling place. Eligible voters have three ways to vote on or before Election Day.

Vote On Election Day
Tuesday, April 8
Polls open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
As a special election, there will only be two polling locations open for the referendum.
Crosslake City Hall: Residents of Crosslake, Fairfield Township, Mission Township.
Cole Memorial Building: Residents of Breezy Point, Jenkins, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Lakeshore, Ideal Township, Jenkins Township, Lake Edward Township, Pelican Township, Loon Lake Township, Maple Township, and Wilson Township.

April 8 and save time on Election Day.If you forget to register, Minnesota allows same-day voter registration.

Vote Early From Home
Absentee ballots will be available upon request beginning Friday, February 21.
Voters can request an absentee ballot by downloading and completing an Absentee Ballot Application.
Voters must submit absentee ballot applications and completed absentee ballots in person or by mail to the Crow Wing County elections office by Tuesday, April 8 at 8 p.m.

Dates: Friday, February 21 - Monday, April 7.
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Extended in-person voting hours will be from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Monday, April 7, and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 5.
